T’was a sad episode. I really don’t know what else there is to say on it. I thought the episode was done wonderfully, as usual, but I didn’t feel unbelivably disheartened.. Come to think of it, KyoAni has not made me shed a single tear in any of their work. OH. Except for when they had that epic Sugita Tomokazu vs Seki Tomokazu in that Comiket episode of Lucky Star. I lol’d too hard. But anyway, the closest I’ve ever been to breaking out in tears during a KyoAni anime was when Sawatari Makoto dissapeared back in Kanon. In this end of the Kotomi arc, I had that eye-watery feeling at the end when Kotomi was reading the letter from her parents and got the teddy bear.

Note: A sad Kotomi is fine too.

To lighten the mood: Oh man. Kotomi’s mom was moe. Well, maybe not moe, but she looks young enough to be in high school. For that matter, in KyoAni’s world, all women look young enough to be in highschool… lol. Nothing’s wrong with that of course. But I think Furukawa Sanae still is the winner since she comes with delicious bread.
