Minami-ke’s comedy is akin to that of Hidamari Sketch or Lucky Star, allowing it to fit nicely in the 4-koma comedy category that has recently been getting more popular.

Personally, I found this first episode to be extremely hilarious. The animation quality was also very good and stayed pretty consistent throughout the show. The OP was pretty epic and the music is decent.

I’ll probably be watching this for at least a couple more episodes. Hopefully the quality will not falter as most shows do as the season drags on.
