Summary:
The day starts out normally as any other for Yuuji. He arrives at the school gates and is greeted by all of his friends. However, as he talks to Ike he begins to have a funny feeling. He stops and asks Ike if they ever had a conversation like this before. Shana soon appears yelling at Wirhelmina to go home. During class, the english teacher scolds Shana for not having her notebook. She goes through the same speech that she went through during the last semester and right as Yuuji begins to notice this, a fuzetsu is created. Friange appears and Shana battles him exactly as she did in the past. After the battle, Yuuji asks Shana if she notices that something is strange, but she doesn’t pay attention to what he says. Later when he is with Ike again, he asks him what month it is. Ike responds and tells him its September. Yuuji points out that its wierd for cherry blossom trees to be blooming during the summer. At home, Yuuji ponders on his situation and begins to realize that he is the one being affected by all of these things, not everyone else.

Suddenly, huge vines explode out of the water and wrap themselves around the bridge in the center of the city. Yuuji recognizes the Tomogara to be Sorath and Tyrael. He sees Shana entangled by the vines while the twins steal away Shana’s sword. He climbs up the ladder to rescue her. He figures out that he is trapped in his own dream, he allows himself to be cut by Sorath. This brings him back to the real world where Shana is fighting the Tomogara that trapped Yuuji in the dream world. Shana easily defeats her and they head off to school together. While they are walking, Yuuji recalls what Shana said to him as she was about to release Alastor. He asks Shana to repeat what she said because he had missed the last part of it. She blushes and tells him that she forgot and breaks out the famous “Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!” line with melon pan in hand.At school everything is back to normal. Shana runs into Kazumi and she spots a lunch box in her bag. Shana gets angry and vows that she will never lose to her.

Thoughts:
Haha how many times am I going to see Friange in one week? This episode was effectively a partial recap that brought back two of the Tomogara that Shana fought, along with the scene at the climax of the last episode. I have to say that Shana looks and acts 10x more awesome then she did in the first season. C.C. like characters seem to be popular nowadays. I wonder how that C.C. girl in the OP is going to fit into the series. After that last scene, my hatred for Kazumi has reignited. I missed hearing urusai!
