Hah hahah haaa… Ken Akamatsu should learn when to say “hey, this live action thing isn’t gonna work out too well.” I mean, seriously. It’s bad enough that I can’t distinguish Makie from Iinchou, but damn. I guess not enough money went into finding actresses. As for that kid who plays Negi, well, yeah… I could see it being hard to get a real good looking British kid who speaks fluent Japanese, but now it just looks like they took any random Japanese kid off the streets of Akiba and asked, “Hey, wanna see a bunch of girls flash panties at you?” Even worse, they gave him a really, really bad wig. Epic lulz + Epic fail = not successful and will get owned hard by 2ch. Anyway, back to casting of the girls: really bad. Did you ever see them up close? There’s a reason why they only had short camera times for those girls. Only Asuna got a lot of screentime, and that’s because she’s the best looking one there. Actually she’s 2nd best after Shizuka-sensei and 3rd would be Takamichi. Takamichi looks ok, I would have pictured a more mature looking guy to play him but, whatev, Ootsuka Ai is much hotter. Anyway, much loling at the random fighting scene. Also much lololing at Chachamaru… that’s awesome. Green Hair. Maybe she’ll say stuff like “Nyoron~ Sumoooku Chizu.” I definitely won’t be watching this periodically, but I might watch one or two if I’m really bored. I think possibly the only selling points to this show would be either fanservice, fighting, or diverging from the actual story line and having funny random shit happen. Maybe Negi’s staff magic is gonna be epicly computer generated or something…
