Summary:
It’s time for another comic festival!! It’s also another chance for Najimi and Kaneru to have a competition. Najimi goes all out with her latest doujin and it is one of the highest quality drawn doujins ever seen, however, there is one slight problem… all of her faces and pictures look similar. Tsuyuri and Justice question her about this, but she says that to increase the quality of the drawings, she needed to focus all of her drawing talent on one picture. At the comic festival, Najimi shows off her doujin to Kaneru and she is blown away at the high quality. However, Tsuyuri quickly reveals the problem with it. All of her pictures are just faces. No bodies. It’s a hentai doujin, with no hentai. lol. Kaneru’s newest doujinshi is a ridiculous ecchi book. Even Tsuyuri says, “It’s so ecchi that it wouldn’t sell.”

Well, Toshi arrives to greet Najimi, Tsuyuri, and Kaneru, and buys one of Kaneru’s doujinshi. He is really surprised at Najimi’s epic looking doujin, but as he read it, he gets frustrated and runs away screaming, “This isn’t the type of Najimi’s doujins I love!!” Kaneru starts to get cocky, saying that Najimi’s biggest fan only bought her doujin, but she is interrupted by a crowd of buyers that purchase Najimi’s doujin. Najimi manages to sell 5 doujinshis that day compared to Kaneru’s one.

Thoughts:
Doujin Work has a consistent level of awesome for each episode. I find myself laughing even at the lowest level of jokes, or even like the short yuri moments. Well maybe not laugh, more like a… “pshh… heh heh.” Speaking of yuri, I remember this one time at my school’s fair where we made an announcement on the speakers that are projected all around the fair. My friend was like, “Jon Fung, Jon Fung. You have lost your yaoi book, please pick it up at the infobooth now.” lol. I couldn’t stop laughing. Of course like 95% of the people at the fair had no idea what a yaoi book was, but I knew, and haha that was funny.

Anyway, Najimi x Tsuyuri has my approval after this episode. lol. All I can say is, I feel sorry for Kaneru. She got owned twice. Kanashii… haha the girl is sad because she kanashii (can not see). Yeah, mnemonics for japanese are so funny…
