Episode 1:
It’s a week old so… no need da screenshots. I’ll just comment on it and explain some stuff for the lulz. (a.f.k. is subbing? EPIC)

So, as you may or may not know, in episode 1, Zetsubou-sensei is pissed because of the number of strokes used to write his name in kanji. Depending on the number, I guess it can have different meanings. He explains this in the episode. So, Kafka (the very lively girl) adds a star between his first and last name to change the number of strokes. Sensei says, “Am I supposed to be Hiro Tsunoda?”

Hiro Tsunoda is an actual person in Japan who has a star in his name. srsly. He has a star in between his first and last name. When he was on tv, the news station had to add a star to his name. srsly.

Episode 2:

Summary:
Zetsubou-sensei needs to make a house call to one of his students. That student is a hikkikomori and doesn’t want to go out of her own room. Kafka meets up with sensei along the way and together they visit the hikkikomori. Her name is Kiri Komori (lol pretty much the same meaning as hikkikomori) and she tells Sensei and Kafka to go away. However, Kafka and Sensei do some crazy things: nail boards of wood to the door so she can’t get out if Kiri wanted to, Sensei hangs himself outside her window, Kafka does some sort of Japanese Shikigami whatever crazy stuff (idk). And well, all this freaks Kiri out. So much that she wants to go outside. The next day, Kiri goes to school, but locks herself up there, becoming a school hikkikomori.

Another student, Matoi Tsunetsuki, is a stalker. She is stalking a guy she likes, but Kafka says that it is only “deep love.” Matoi agrees with Kafka and runs away.

Back in class, Chiri (the girl who likes things perfect) is trying to cut a cake so that 4 people can have equal shares. However, more people walk into the classroom and she gets frustrated because they want a share too. In the end, she puts the cake into a blender and everyone drinks the cake.

Matoi ran to her boyfriend (?) well the person she is stalking. His name is Takashi and he seems like he doesn’t want Matoi around him. Zetsubou Sensei shows up and says that Matoi needs to prove her “deep love.” He leaves but leaves behind a box for her to prove her love with (or something, idk). Well, Matoi leaves after Sensei leaves… and it seems almost like she will start stalking Sensei.

The next day, Matoi shows up in clothes that look like Zetsubou Sensei’s. Sensei runs away before class ends, but Matoi follows him. Even at his house, the phone rings constantly, so he unplugs it. She even faxes him countless notes of “I love you.” In Matoi’s room, she has an entire wall of Sensei’s pictures.

At school, Sensei isn’t feeling well so he goes to rest in the infirmary. He gets on the bed, and next to him, Chiri is sleeping (maybe from the blended cake she ate). In her sleep, Chiri rolls into Zestubou’s bed and they wake up at the same time with a shock on their faces. Chiri assumes that stuff happened…lol.

Well, the next day as Sensei heads to school, Matoi follows him, and Takashi follows her, and his gf follows him, and her dad follows her, and his wife follows him, and etc. etc. lol. long summary. sorry. this episode was awesome.

Thoughts on these 2 episodes:
Well, this anime seems pretty awesome. Good voice actors: Konoka’s voice and Yoko’s voice, I recognized right off the bat. Momoiro kakarichou is pretty random. lol. I love those writings on the chalkboard. But, Pani Poni Dash had the best ones. “The chocobo has caught bird influenza.” lol. Shaft is pretty cool. Maybe not as cool as Kyoani, but they put some nice references in whatever they do. Gotta love that moe hikkikomori girl. The way this anime is drawn is interesting and reminds me of Hidamari. lol, but then again, all of Shaft’s work has similar traits and stuff, so. lol. Negima?! was not as bad as everyone thought it was. ok. Maybe it was.
