I got bored so I decided to compile a quiz to test your knowledge on Japanese culture, traditions, random stuff that has nothing to do with anything, etc. etc. There are fifteen questions total.
So with out further ado, lets begin!
Answers are at the bottom. No cheating! :D

    一。 The yen. Did you know that if you look at the Bank of Japan building from the air, it looks like the kanji for yen?

    二。 tree. “moku/ki”

    三。 fermented soybeans

    四。 4: Green Day, Constitution Day, People’s Rest Day, Children’s Day

    五。 Right

    六。 Not Employed, in Education, or in Training

    七。 Abe

    八。 tempura

    九。 a peach… but in the original story, he was born from his “grandmother” after she got pregnant… she and the “grandfather” ate a magic peach, became young, then had sex.

    十。 The carp (koi)

    十一。 Take off their shoes… though people do that also in Hawaii.

    十二。 a protection amulet

    十三。 Miyamoto Musashi

    十四。 fugu or poisonous blowfish

    I’ve found that natto is a hit or miss sorta thing. XD I haven’t tried it yet, though.

    I got 4 right. (Yen, Right side, Abe and taking off shoes)

    The fact the Japanese drive on the right hand side is painfully known to me because we get a lot of Japanese import cars here in Dubai (UAE) but cant drive them coz we have left hand cars here :( So they’re all exported someplace else.
