Sleep = death. No kanka = death. Don’t eat = death. So, how can she survive? Well, if you remember from last chapter, Asuna needs Negi’s pactio power up to perform kanka. So, she’s screwed right? Luckily she has a dream of the past (when she’s loli and awesome at magic) and she is teaching Takamichi a secret to using Kanka. So, when she wakes up, she realizes that she’s been using Kanka in her sleep and can do it now without Negi’s help. But what about food? Yeah, she tried to fish but to no avail. FTL! But what about Kanka? can she keep using it the entire time?

So, she builds a cave to rest in. Too bad she cant build a fire. She falls asleep, thinking she can just tough the cold out for that one night. The next morning, Asuna is frozen and seems to have died but it was only a layer of ice that surrounded her body. Asuna is very discouraged and seems like she will give up and ring the bell to have Eva save her. But…

Here she comes, here comes Kagurazaka, she’s a demon on wheels. La la la la la la she’s chasin after someone. Go Asuna. Go Asuna. Go Asuna GOO!
Yeah, I wish I had a Mach5 car with like special powers. But, anyway, what has Chisame been up to? I haven’t seen her since the end of the Chao arc.

Thoughts:
So, even more of Asuna’s past is revealed this chapter…not really. Well, now we know for sure that her childhood was an unpleasant one even before she met Nagi. Memory Erasure Magic is ftl if it wears off after a while. But then again, it could just be Asuna’s Magic Canceller. LOL at Eva’s surprised face after Asuna went berserk mode.
