Summary:
Kuroi-sensei gives her students the usual be safe and don’t do anything you will regret during the summer break speech. Later, Konata talks about how she plays a MMO and that their Sensei also plays it. (haha)

Tsukasa complains that its so hot in the house and asks why the air conditioner isn’t on. In response, Kagami hands her a fan. The whole group later meets up at a festival wearing their yukata.　Kagami complements Miyuki for being able to tie her obi correctly and asks Konata if she tied hers right. Konata shows off her obi to the group (its tied horribly wrong) and tells them that her dad tied it for her.

The group runs into a police officer name Yui, who is an acquaintance of Konata and she mistakes Konata’s friends for being her older sisters. Later, Sharpshooter Yui brags about how she is good with guns and so Konata gives her a toy rifle to play a game with. Yui tries to make cool poses while shooting the gun (LOL hotdog) until she is taken away by her co-worker. They decide to get some shaved ice since its so hot. One flavor is Blue Hawaii and Konata wonders what kind of fruit it is. Kagami then decides to play some good old fashioned kingyo sukui. However, Konata has little faith in Kagami’s abilities and calls her a noob.

The next day Konata is playing her MMO and she talks to her sensei online and she is reminded that she has to do her summer homework, so its off to Kagami’s house. There is a fan at Kagami’s house and after staring at it for a moment Konata talks into it, making her voice sound weird, however Kagami thinks its embarrassing and childish. Tsukasa wakes up and does the same thing and Kagami nags her sister when her dad comes in and says that she did the same thing.

They decide to do homework and Konata does not understand any of it so she repeatedly asks Kagami for help. Soon, Kagami refuses to help her any more and she is forced to do it by herself. That night she decides to take a short break and play her MMO for only thirty minutes. However, she gets some epic phat lootz in the form of some legendary sword called Levatein. She immediately tells all her online buddies about it and her homework is forgotten.

Thoughts:
Haha funny stuff… Way less static then some of the other episodes. Less dialog more action. Yui’s gun shooting poses with the hotdog was pretty lol and that fan part made me laugh super hard. Ya.. I don’t know if its the new director or what but Lucky Star seems to be even funnier now. Konata was also trying to sing Bouken Desho Desho which was pretty amusing considering that Hirano Aya is her voice actor. Also, Konata got a new issue of her magazine. FSN is on the cover instead of Galaxy Angel.
