Nagasarete Airantou – 03

24Apr07

Summary:
While eating breakfast, Ikuto realizes that he’s just freeloading off of Suzu and he wants to help out in any way he can. So, together, Ikuto and Suzu go off to collect fresh water for their house and by coincidence, they meet Rin (awesome) along the way back. She is carrying a huge, huge, huge bucket of water and shows why she is called the strongest on the island. Because Ikuto doesn’t like to lose, he rushes back to Suzu’s house carrying the water, but he trips on a small rock, spilling all of the collected water. Rin feels sorry for him and offers some of her water, but she is interrupted by the arrival of a kunoichi called Mikoto. She is actually Rin’s sister (?) and is totally yuri for her. Then she pulls a Maki-chan (Seto no Hanayome).

Don’t you f*ckin think about touching my onee-chan.

So, after Ikuto and Suzu finish up their household chores, they go to the village and do Suzu’s job of helping anyone who needs help. Yorozuya is another moe factor. Btw, a yorozuya is a jack-of-all-trades, who can do any job (see Gintama). Ok, ok, back to the story: a couple of girls ask Ikuto and Suzu to help them harvest sweet potatoes. That doesn’t go to well for Ikuto, but with Suzu’s help, they do it. Btw, all plants and animals are way oversized on this island. Except for Tonkatsu. After that, Ikuto and Suzu are asked to shave the sheep for wool…but the sheep look pretty different. They’re almost pokemon. Ikuto and Suzu also milk cows, catch fish dragons, and harvest mushrooms…all of which end in pain for Ikuto. Depressed, Ikuto feels like he can never show his father that he can surpass the impossible (zettai muri). However, Rin easily cheers him up with her awesome-ness. In the end, Ikuto still feels a little bad for not being able to do anything correctly to help Suzu the entire day. However, Suzu says that it’s okay, because Ikuto has already given her something very important: a family she can go home to.

Thoughts:
This episode was good. Not as great as episode 2, but it still had its moments of awesome. LOL at that yuri action between Rin and Mikoto. I have to say…”That is fine too.” cats are fine too. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I almost drifted off to meme land. Anyway, Nagasarete is still very pleasing and one of the better animes of the season (I think). (Yea, I still haven’t seen DnB or RxJ but…thats okay since I have this and Hayate and Seto and Lucky Star and Gurren Lagann). Zomg…btw. We need a close up of that awesome Rin-ness.

OH MAN

btw…where was that chibi chibi loli loli girl? I know she got owned off the cliff last episode and…Oh wait, there she is!

An eggplant is fine too?!

An eggplant is not fine too. LOSE.
