Lucky Star OP:



I normally don’t cap OPs but this one was made of WIN.

Thoughts:
The OP was so awesome. I can imagine how many people are practicing that dance right now to show off at the next con. -_- Lucky Star so far appears to be a typical 4-コマ. Other shows that immediately came to mind when I watched this were Pani Poni, Hidamari and Azumanga. There is no summary for this episode because it is basically filled with random dialog. Not to say that this was a boring EP (as long as you can understand Japanese), some of the things that they said made me lawl. Konata + Eroge = LOL and Konata’s singing at the end. However, if you can’t understand and watched the raws, wait for the subs then try again, you will VERY different experience. BTW, Street Fighter reference ftw.

Update:
I know that there is a lot of disappointment circulating around about how lackluster the first episode was. HOWEVER, this is not Kanon, this is a 4-コマ in anime form, yes the humor is targeted at smaller audiences and many may be wondering WTF while watching this, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. If you don’t like 4-コマ then this isn’t for you (judging from the first EP) but don’t bash it cause its not up to “Kyoto Animation standards” because it is a completely different type of anime from SHNY and Kanon.
