Summary:
Ikuto falls off the side of a ship due to a storm and is left behind in the middle of the ocean. While he courageously tries to swim back, the large waves over take him and he passes out. He is saved/caught by a girl named Suzu who gives him mouth to mouth resuscitation and takes him to her grandmother’s house to care for him. Ikuto’s appearance on the island interested all the locals and many people gather up at the grandmother’s house. The old woman scares the crowds away but they quickly come back when they hear that the newly arrived stranger is a man. It seems that the island is only inhabited by women (who seem pretty athletic) and Ikuto is the only male. While Suzu and Ikuto go out for a walk, Ayane appears. Ayane is a loli who always fights with Suzu and tries to take Ikuto from her. Suzu prevails and go back to Suzu’s home. Ikuto and Suzu take a bath together and Ikuto loses a lot of blood from all the nose bleeds. He passes out and is kidnapped by Ayane. Ayane, however, is defeated by Rin (big breast girl). Rin, however, is then challenged by Yukino (animal girl), and Ikuto runs away. He, however, is discovered by Chikage (glasses girl) and Machi (another loli). More madness ensues. Ikuto decides that the island is too ridiculous and tries to sail away using a rowboat. However, surrounding the island are massive whirlpools that own any ship. So, the island is closed off from the rest of the world. Only 2 words can describe this: Ultimate Harem.

Thoughts:
At first, I was just going to watch this anime and not blog it…but, I found myself to be lol-ing too hard on the first episode. So, yay Nagasarete ftw. Anyway, while I watched, the words ultimate harem went through my mind constantly and yeah…Mahou Sensei Negima got nothin’ on this. The opening and ending sequences have very upbeat songs sung by the great and powerful Yui Horie. So, overall I haven’t really seen anything special about this harem that sets it aside from other harem animes. However, just because it is the “ultimate” harem, it has already reserved a place in anime history. I recommend it to anyone who loves the romance comedy harem genre. Moreover, I command you to watch this because of other subtle factors seen in this next picture.
