Summary:
Rin and company are taken on a cruise through the world of the gods by Forbesii and Eustoma. After an eventful morning the group decides to go fishing and learn that if they were to catch a special fish, it would grant their wishes. However, Rin is not interested and decides to take a walk. Nerine comes by later and asks Kaede where Rin is. Itsuki is unworried and says that Rin just went to take a stroll. However, Nerine is unconvinced and says that she hasn’t seen him for two hours and decides to look for him.　Kaede says that she will help but Nerine says that its okay and that she will return soon. However, Nerine fails to come back and the group begins to make strange speculations on their disappearance.

After a ship-wide search they discover Rin’s and Nerine’s clothes on the ground. Soon after, Sia discovers Mayumi’s clothes. Kaede retires from searching and begins to prepare the eels for dinner using a huge cleaver. Asa walks into the kitchen and Kaede accuses Asa of playing a trick on her saying that she knew where Rin was all along but kept it a secret from her. Asa locks herself in a room to protect herself from the knife-wielding Kaede. Suddenly, a flash of light appears and Asa’s scream is heard through the door. Kaede returns to normal and rushes into the room to save Asa. Kaede wakes up naked and finds out that she, along with everyone else has been shrunken due to a winged, mirror-like creature that Rin released from a box. Rin climbs up a railing and is successful at getting Sia’s attention but Sia is miniaturized before she can help them. The spell is finally broken when Primula opens a door and smashes the mirror, returning everyone to normal size.

Thoughts:
All I have to say is WOW… What you can get away with broadcasting on Japanese networks is pretty amazing. I stayed away from Shuffle! Memories until this last episode for the same reason that many others have, its all recap… This episode was all about fan service, fan service and fan service. However, it still proved to be entertaining. The facial expressions displayed in this episode were priceless, and the pure randomness of it kept me awake. Kaede’s psychopathic tendencies have obviously not gone away and she disturbs the %@$& out of me. DO NOT WANT! Sia ftw.

After a season of barely any new content, was Shuffle! Memories worth the slot that WOWOW allotted for them? Financially, most likely, as I’m sure many, many people watched each recap episode hoping and praying for new material. Otherwise, this money making scheme was a waste of time. I’m glad I did not have to despair through the recaps and waited till the end to watch this episode (which was made of win).
